Terms of Service

The Service is intended for students and researchers aged 13 and older. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 16 will have a parental notification sent to the guardian email provided at registration. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian review and agree to these Terms on their behalf.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements or that a parent or guardian has consented on your behalf.

To access certain features you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@onhelixai.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

On Helix AI is a research opportunity discovery platform that aggregates and curates undergraduate and pre-college research opportunities, internships, fellowships, and related academic programs. We use automated tools and AI-assisted discovery to compile listings from publicly available sources.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing. Opportunities are provided for informational purposes only. You should verify all listings independently before applying.

Certain features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency and price disclosed at checkout. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment information you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

We may offer limited free access to certain features. Free-tier access is subject to usage limits and may be modified or discontinued at any time. We reserve the right to convert free features to paid features with reasonable notice.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk using automated tools.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to send unsolicited communications to third parties.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of On Helix AI. Our name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of On Helix AI and may not be used without prior written consent. Opportunity listings sourced from third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described there.

The Service may link to third-party websites or opportunity listings. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites. Inclusion of a link does not constitute endorsement. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

We make no representations about the accuracy of opportunity listings, application outcomes, or any other information obtained through the Service.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ON HELIX AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $50 USD.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless On Helix AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, with or without cause or notice. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting legal@onhelixai.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek equitable relief in court. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
